Construction sites
The training provided by the association can only take on its full meaning if it takes place in an environment conducive to care.
It is not possible to do training without worrying about the environment and the conditions of exercise and work of health personnel. There is an articulation and a complementarity here which seem to us essential and inseparable.
What good is hygiene and health training if the clinic does not have running water? What is our advice on childbirth or newborn care worth in these summary conditions of care?
It therefore seemed necessary to us to go to the end of our principle of solidarity by ensuring that training is not an isolated act but a step towards better conditions for the exercise of health personnel.
Hence the need now to ensure the financing of various projects.
This is how we supervised, with our partners and donors, water supply sites (SIBOUNHOUANG, BAN HOUEY PONG, ANO, NAVANG and soon CHOM ONG), the installation of photovoltaic cells, as well as the construction of a new dispensary, that of NAMPHOUAN. These clinics, which have been the subject of work, are intended to be as close as possible to the populations. They are a necessary relay between the inhabitants of the village and the district hospital.
The Sustainable Development Goals that our solidarity projects contribute to.
Our achievements and our projects
WATER SUPPLY IN ANO
The ANO Health Center did not have access to water to perform primary health care. Patients are obliged to fetch water with buckets. This is why we have built a cistern which provides this dispensary with sufficient drinking water for its care activities and thus prevents the development of waterborne diseases.
NAMPHOUAN DISPENSARY
In 2017 the health authorities of the Province of OUDOMXAY asked us for the construction of a new medical dispensary in the town of NAMPHOUAN. This dispensary was therefore designed and built (in 2018) to be a place of prevention, care, training and education for the benefit of a weakened and deprived local population.
